Some things never come back the more you move away, and with a couple of years behind me I guess somethings never change. With all my stuff in boxes I only spent a few years as a kid, it was so much harder thinking that you would question everything I did. And the time that it takes to get me back to that place - it's hardly worth remembering at all. I keep running out of places I knew when I was young. And every time I turn around to find a piece of me has gone, well it won't be there for long. Because I've found in you my home and I won't be leaving tonight. My vision's fading day by day, but I've learnt to see in my own way. So embrace the life you're hiding from and let's grow old with our mistakes. I keep running out of places I knew when I was young. And every time I turn around to find a piece of me has gone, well it won't be there for long. Because I've found in you my home and I'll stay here until the end.

I kept my head down like you said, with just a few things kept close to my chest. And time will tell if these choices were a mistake or just more time to waste, but I won't be holding my breath. Because I'm a better man than I ever was, and all that weight down on my shoulders has now definitely gone, but now I'm scared to death I'll be dead from this routine. Why bother trying to survive if I'm forgetting that I am alive. These days keep pulling at me like the ocean on the shore. If I get swept back out to sea, the current is everything I need - to escape the working week and find a way back to sleep. But I won't be holding my breath. Because I'm a better man than I ever was, and all that weight down on my shoulders has now definitely gone, but now I'm scared to death I'll be dead from this routine. Why bother trying to survive if I'm forgetting that I am alive.
